A Day of Exploration and Inspiration at Golden Mount Temple!

Our Year 8 students embarked on an exciting journey today, immersing themselves in the rich tapestry of Thai history at the magnificent Golden Mount Temple in the heart of Bangkok.

In a collaborative effort between the Eastern Languages department and English department, our students delved into the captivating history of แร้งวัดสระเกศ, allowing the ancient stories to serve as the wellspring of inspiration for their upcoming Halloween ghost story writing.

As they walked through the hallowed halls and explored the temple’s intricate architecture, they absorbed the essence of Thai culture and heritage. The sights, sounds, and stories of Golden Mount Temple came alive, providing a vivid backdrop for their literary endeavors.

But it wasn’t all history and academics; our students also had a chance to soak in the breathtaking panoramic views from atop the Golden Mount, a moment of serenity and reflection.

The day concluded with a beautiful act of merit-making, reinforcing the values of compassion and generosity. It was an unforgettable experience, where education, culture, and spirituality converged.
