SPIP Student Exchange Programs:
Greeting from UK
Hello everyone! I am an international exchange student. My name is Ruk Nattakarn Muangsiri, and I am currently studying at Cobham Hall School. My school is located in Kent, which is not very far from London; it took me about an hour to get there. Cobham Hall School is a popular boarding school in Kent. It is well known for its majestic and historic buildings. Moreover, the school has also been used as a location for many famous films like Wild Child, The Great Fire, Bleak House, and the most recent one, Netflix’s The Crown.
When I first arrived at the school, I really thought it was more like a palace, and it made me feel like I was surrounded by a magical castle with astounding landscapes. It really has grand and enormous buildings. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The teachers are very kind and considerate. The school is a multicultural school with more than 25 nationalities from around the world, and over 50% of the students are British. It was exciting and entertaining to learn about different languages and cultures from my friends. At the same time, I also teach Thai and spread Thai culture among my friends.
After school, students can participate in a variety of co-curricular activities, such as cooking club and games club. At the boarding house, I also got the chance to make new friends and play table tennis with them. Studying abroad is a lifetime experience, so you should seize every opportunity that comes up, and trust me, it will be worth it.
Lastly, I have a YouTube channel where I will be making vlogs in the UK, and if you are interested, you are more than welcome to show support and watch my videos on the channel “Ruk World.”
