The Equity Partnership Competition is back for its fourth season! After the success of season three, we were asked to enter two teams in the competition for this new year. Working in partnership with The Equitable Education Fund, our team is charged with supporting rural communities by creating and marketing products that are suitable for e-commerce, reducing inequality and supporting rural development.
Team 2, comprised of Nine, Nutty, Focus, Ing and Nina, have been paired with Ban Nong Thong School in Phatthalung. After an hour bus ride from Hat Yai, we learned how their traditional products are made, before brainstorming final competition products. We also had to consider what could be produced in the time given and where to source the materials. Overall it was a good learning and team-building experience for all involved.
