The Equity Partnership Competition is back for its fourth season! After the success of season three, we were asked to enter two teams in the competition for this new year. Working in partnership with The Equitable Education Fund, our team is charged with supporting rural communities by creating and marketing products that are suitable for e-commerce, reducing inequality and supporting rural development.
Team 1, comprised of Kiwi, Zen, Alisa, Siang and Fasai, have been paired with Wat Hup Krating School in Ratchaburi. Over 1-2 October, our team visited our partner school to increase collaboration and work on project development. On the first day we went to Suan Phuang handicraft center to get more inspiration for our candles as well as learn about the candle making process. We also found inspiration for our product packaging as well. On the second day we went to Wat Hup Krating school to practice making candles and to experience the process of production. Overall it was a good learning and team-building experience for all involved.
The Business and Technology department would like to thank all involved in planning the trip and would like to send a special thank you to Ms. Nis for chaperoning.
