Field Trip Report:
Y10/11 Art & Design field trip to MOCA
On Wednesday, our SPIP Y10 and 11 Art & Design students
embarked on an inspiring journey to the Museum of Contemporary Art Bangkok,
accompanied by dedicated teachers from the VPA department.
Exploring Thai Art & Culture:
During the trip, students immersed themselves in the vibrant
world of Thai art and culture. They had the privilege of experiencing the works
of Thailand’s national artists, gaining insights into contemporary art trends,
and delving into the beauty of traditional Thai art forms.
Educational Enrichment:
The field trip served as a valuable educational opportunity
for our students. By engaging with diverse artistic expressions, they broadened
their perspectives, deepened their understanding of art history, and honed
their critical thinking skills.
Inspiration
and Creativity:
Walking through the museum’s galleries, our students were
inspired by the creativity and ingenuity of the artworks on display. They found
new sources of inspiration that will undoubtedly fuel their own artistic
endeavors and creative projects.
Community and
Enjoyment:
The trip was not only educational but also a source of joy
and camaraderie. Students and teachers alike enjoyed bonding over their shared
appreciation for art, fostering a sense of community within our school’s
creative ecosystem.
Thank You:
A heartfelt thank you to the VPA department teachers for
organizing this enriching experience, and to the Museum of Contemporary Art
Bangkok for welcoming us with open arms. We look forward to more inspiring
adventures that ignite the passion for art and learning in our students!
